This tray was started on March 8th, 2004 at around 21:35EST to replace the seeds from trays 1 & 2 that didn't germinate. As they sprouted I poked a hole in the peat and put the seed down into it with the root tip pointing up so that the seedling could pull itself out, hopefully without dragging the seed coat with it. When recording the germination date I also made note of AM or PM based on when I checked the seeds. Since I planted at night an AM would denote a half day.
