About

This page is the home of my Mystery Ornimental pepper plant.

All of the pictures were taken at 1600x1200 and 16bit color. The pictures on the page have been reduced to 1/8 and linked to the full sized picture which is a much bigger download (~400KB). I've provided them for people with faster connections or those that are trying to help me identify things of note.

DATE: Sept 3rd, 2003. The generic tag the came on my new ornimental plant. Tag says the plant is from White's Nursery.
DATE: Sept 3rd, 2003. My new mystery ornimental plant. I thought it was a prarie fire but didn't pay attention to the pod shape so I'm not sure what it is but its close enough to prarie fire for now. Hopefully I can get enough seed from it to start a lot of seedlings this winter so I can use them in my front yard landscaping next season.

DATE: Sept 3rd, 2003. A shot of the pods on the two mystery ornimental plants that they had at Giant. The red pod came from the plant I bought and the two orange ones came from another plant that they had there which was also tagged with a generic name. All of the pods on the other plant were bright orange like that. I didn't see any pods that were a different color so I don't know if they started out orange and will change or if they were some other color and matured to orange. The pods on that plant were also upright.

DATE: Sept 3rd, 2003. A shot of 2 blossoms on my new mystery ornimental plant.
